It's Me - Ayisha




Assalamu Alaikum Everybody,

 This is Ayisha Abdul Basith, a 12 year old basically from Kerala, India and lives in Abu Dhabi for past 10 years. Ayisha has proved her talents in the field of singing. She is also known as ‘YouTube Girl’ among the web world.

Our Channel has more than 100,000 subscribers in YouTube and same number of followers in Facebook as well. She has already posted more than 50 musical videos in her channels which has viewership of more than 35 million in past 2 years.

Her songs include mostly devotional, motivational and patriotic in nature which inspires 1000s of people around the world on a daily basis.

Ayisha was born on 29th March 2005 in Thalasseri, she was born to Abdul Basith who is working with SEHA Abu Dhabi and Thasnim who is house wife and big motivation and teacher in Ayishsa’s talent.

She is learning Hindustani Classical music under Mr. Sanjoy Dubey who is from Kolkata. She is also inspired by the Musicians like Sami Yusuf, Mehar Zain, AR Rahman, Rahet Fateh Alikhan, Amjed Sabri, Junaid Jamshed etc.

I thought I should share the stories behind my videos post in facebook and Youtube. Going forward I will share little things about my video before I post to youtube Insha Allah !

After learning small Suras of Juzh 30, my Abba decided to teach me 'Ayatul Kursi', We used to sit together after Magrib prayer at our residence and it took me 3 days to memorize it. After memorizing, he asked me to listen to Sheikh Mishary Rashid's recitation. I started copying him and his style. Below is the video, which I used to listen to.
